My name is Maria Aragon - this is my 3rd year teaching art at RGE. I have many exciting new projects planned for the year that will help your student explore the creative process, while also learning state and national visual arts standards.
In addition to your child's weekly 45-minute art class, classes will have extra pull-out classes (Art, PE, Library, Computer Lab) on a rotating basis, which means students will attend an additional art class every 4 to 6 weeks.
Please be aware of your child’s scheduled day for art each week and have him/her dress accordingly. While students are provided with aprons and/or t-shirts to protect clothing, accidents, spills, and stains do happen in a busy art room.
